# How to Return an Item and Get an RMA
## How do I return an item and get an RMA?
A return request is handled by reviewing the return and issuing an RMA. The RMA and shipping instructions are provided so the item can be sent back correctly. Follow the instructions on the RMA form and use the shipping details provided with it.
## What condition must the item be in?
The item should be:
- New
- Unused
- Resellable
- In its original packaging
- With all original paperwork included
## What should I send with the return?
Send the item back with the RMA information and follow the instructions on the form. Include all original packaging and paperwork with the return.
## Should I insure the package?
Yes. Insuring the package is recommended for added security.
## What happens after the return request is submitted?
The return is reviewed, an RMA is prepared, and the shipping information is sent to help complete the return process.
