# One of the door latches on my Alu-Cab canopy/camper is sticking and hard to open, what should I check first?
First check that the nut on the back of the lock isn't over-tightened, since excess pressure there can bind the latch mechanism. If loosening the nut doesn't resolve it, reach out to us with the number on the back of the latch and the unit's serial number (found centered above the driver's side door) so we can arrange a replacement latch body. Replacement latches are available without the lock core so you can keep your existing keyed core.
