My Alu-Cab awning zipper is stuck and won't move — what should I check first?

First check whether the awning fabric itself is caught in the zipper track. If it isn't, the zipper has often simply seized from dirt/debris; cleaning and lubricating may not always fully resolve it once it's seized and damaged.
