Why is shipping so expensive for a small or inexpensive item?

We hear you. Shipping can feel like a lot, especially on a smaller part, and we wish it were lower too. The truth is we don’t make any money on shipping. The amount you see at checkout is what the carrier charges us to get your package to you, or less, and we never add anything on top.

It can look out of proportion because carriers price by box size and weight, not by what’s inside. A small, affordable part that ships in a long or heavy box can cost more to send than you’d expect.

Most orders over $125 shipped within the contiguous U.S. qualify for free shipping (items that ship by freight are the exception).
